Portrait of a Lady Graphic 45 Cards

How pretty is Graphic 45's papers Portrait of a Lady?! I just love this paper and have enjoyed making a few items with the lovely theme.

Here is a large keepsake box I covered with the Graphic 45 Portrait of a Lady papers for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary.  This was fun!

The top of the box was done with a velum paper insert for their photo.

You can see their surprise when they thought they were just going out to dinner with my brother and sister-in-law only to come to a full house of family and friends.  : )

Pocket Letters

How pretty are the Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian papers!  I enjoyed creating these pocket letters for my Aunt Rosemary's album.  The pocket letters idea is so much fun from creating the tiny cards to sending them to your family and friends.  The Graphic 45 papers are great in that the themes compliment each other well.  You can use your scraps making these fun little letter or card inserts.  Thanks to all those I follow on Pinterest for your wonderful inspiration!

I do love the beach themed papers at Graphic 45.  This one is titled By the Sea and I had so much fun using the scraps for this pocket letter for my Aunt Rosemary.  Never throw away your larger Graphic 45 papers scraps because they are great for these pocket letters and the pop up box cards.

The pocket letters below were made using the G45 papers Botanical Tea and Time to Flourish.  The scraps left over from other projects were fun to put together in each card.

Graphic 45 November Pocket Letter using scraps from G45 Time to Flourish. This is a wonderful way to use up your beautiful Graphic 45 scrap papers.  If you're like me and you can't bear to throw away the tiny scrap pieces of G45 papers, this is a fun way to use them.

Mini Pocket Letter using the WeR Fuse Tool.  I picked up the tool at Hobby Lobby.  You can order it online from Walmart too.  For a tutorial on how to use this tool, go to the following link:

I made the mini pocket letter by cutting out one of the rectangle pockets from the large 9 pocket page you can purchase at Walmart or any craft or paper store.  The following tutorial video shows you how to make the mini pocket letters.  You will need to advance to 9:40 for the instructions on the mini pocket letter to begin.  Enjoy!
A big thanks goes to Pink Poodle Crafts and Craft Direct for their help on making the mini pocket letter and using the WeR Fuse Tool.

Penny's Paper Doll Family Graphic 45 Pocket Letter Book

My Aunt Rosemary's birthday is coming up and I wanted to do something special for her Pocket Letter album.  Imagine my happy surprise when Graphic 45 introduced Penny's Paper Doll Family papers!  They're perfect for a gift idea.  My Aunt and my mom loved to play paper dolls when they were little girls and I wanted to make a book of the Penny's Paper Doll Family papers for her to look at and play with if she desired.  Happy Birthday, Aunt Rosemary!

For the cover page I made 3 pockets for embellishments of her favorites.

Here is page 1 of the book with a photo on the "wall" of my aunt and mom taken when they were kids.  They were big fans of paper dolls back then.  I love this paper from Graphic 45!

Page 2 of Penny's closet.  I got the idea for this page from Shellie Geigle from J&S Hobbies and Crafts at the following link:

Shellie has the most beautiful album she's created using the G45 Penny's Paper Doll papers along with a tutorial that she shares over on You Tube.  Thank you so much, Shellie!

Page 3 inside Penny's closet.  The tag on the right with my aunt and mom's photo is removable for Aunt Rosemary to hang on her bulletin board if she chooses.

Here's Page 4 of Penny's sister, Emily's room.  This was fun too.  Note a friend is waiting outside to play.

I love the look of a dresser for holding Emily's clothes.  A big thanks goes to all the designers over at Pinterest for this idea.  Check out other Graphic 45 Penny's Paper Doll Family ideas in crafting over at Pinterest.  There are some awesome ideas!

Page 5 of Penny's mom and dad's room.  This was a lot of fun to make too.

Page 9 front and back of friends of Penny's family.

I left this page whole so Aunt Rosemary can cut out the friends and their clothes with some help if she desires.

Page 10 of Penny's Pocket Book. I also left this page whole so Aunt Rosemary may color the page if she desires.  I love the Twistables Colored Pencils by Crayola.  This way there is no need for a pencil sharpener.

Pocket Pages Graphic 45 Children's Hour March and April

Pocket Pages from Jim Holtz. They are a little smaller than the full 9 pocket pages. They're designed for a smaller album with 2 holes on the left side for inserting into the album. These are the March and April pages from Graphic 45 Children's Hour papers. I love these papers! Very sweet and lovely!

The Graphic 45 Children's Hour Calendar papers
are so sweet.  Here is another Pocket Letter idea using the
July 8 x 8 pages and using a mason jar die cut.
You can use any mason jar pattern idea for this project.
